White Turmeric

The white turmeric is often referred to as Zedoaria or Amba Haldi. The white turmeric is the root of the Curcuma zedoaria plant. The Curcuma zedoaria plant is native to India. White turmeric has lighter flesh and its flavor is very similar to that of ginger, but with a more bitter aftertaste.
